We combined individual goals, company-wide strategic goals, and the ability to cascade goals into a robust and rich goal management system. TrakStar is built on technology that allows you to create purely individual goals that apply only to one user. But it is flexible enough to cascade that single goal to every user in your organization and even allow managers to track employee progress on that goal with a single click.

The large 'Goals' button at the top of the screen gives managers one-click access to all goals that they may want to track. They can view all goals given to their direct reports or every employee below them. Additionally, they can update the status of goals just by clicking them and making any necessary changes. Goal tracking has never been easier.

Cascade Goals down the chain

It's critical that every employee has a clear plan for success that all employees work toward the same goals. That's why cascading goal is so important. And we've made it incredibly easy. Just click the "cascade goals" button. Select the goal you want, the employees who should get the goal, and click "cascade goals". It couldn't be simpler.

Strategically align goals

TrakStar allows you to take full advantage of corporate wide goal alignment. Let's say your Customer Service Department needs to improve their feedback surveys by 10%. Each employee may contribute to this objective differently, so most need specific individual goals. But they are all working to improve the customer surveys. By aligning individual goals with the overall objective, each employee can contribute in a different way, but managers can track these goals as a group - and with a single click.

Managers aren't the only ones who can add goals. By preference, employees can add goals that must be approved by the manager. Adding these goals works the exact same way as it does for the manager. In addition to employees contributing goals, they can also update the status fields of goals throughout the year. Any changes they make will be emailed in a list to their manager.
