TrakStar has robust password protection features. You can require that password have a minimum length and minimum strength. You can even make it so passwords expire after a certain interval so users must rotate their passwords. Additionally, all passwords are encrypted in the database with a one-way hash to make passwords even more secure.
Users can have the following roles: employee, manager and administrator. Critical features are available only to users with the right access privileges. So users can only access the features you want them to.
All network traffic is encrypted as soon as you access TrakStar. We use Thawte for our Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificate - a subsidiary over VeriSign. This ensures that third parties can't snoop on network traffic.
Our state of the art data center has multiple levels of security in place. First, our servers are running behind redundant firewalls to make sure only legitimate network traffic makes it's way to the servers. And physical access to the data center is restricted using biometric systems. Strategically places cameras are running 24x7 to monitor critical systems.
